This is an Azumaya Gazebo – a traditional Japanese style gazebo structure.
The posts are 6″ x 6″ with a custom S4S (surfaced four sides) finish, the rafters are 2″ x 6″ bandsaw finish, and the bench is made from 2″ x 4″ S4S. This gazebo has been built with Clear Yellow Cedar and is sealed with a transparent finish to protect and maintain the bright yellow colouring of the cedar. What a work of art!
