We love these heavy-duty raised garden beds! Each box is made from Appearance Grade Yellow Cedar 4″ x 4″. The smaller bed is 36″ square and 24″ high and the larger one is 36″ wide x 96″ long x 24″ high. The pieces are cut to 32″ and 92″ lengths and follow the “log cabin” pattern. Yellow Cedar is a great choice for this project as it is naturally preservative and is completely safe for growing any vegetables. Don’t use pressure treated lumber for garden beds if you are growing anything you may eat!
