Here is the perfect weekend project to help your garden survive those frosty spring mornings. This simple cold frame project was designed to sit on top of some plastic vegetable planters. All the pieces were measured and cut to length before being assembled with deck screws. Heavy-duty, clear poly was stretched tight over the frame and stapled into place, make sure the poly is tight to avoid rain pooling in the center.
These boxes were made with 1″ x 6″ Yellow Cedar.
